Atlanta’s newspaper of record since 1868 and a Cox Enterprises company, the AJC now runs as much on live experiences and podcasts as on the daily paper. Lauren produces the events behind its community brands — UATL, DawgNation, Politically Georgia and AJC Original Podcasts.
“Who Blew Up the Guidestones?” went from a podcast feed to a 360° room at Illuminarium — sunset on every wall, a fragment of the stones under glass in the lobby.
Atlanta’s largest volunteer-mobilizing nonprofit, pairing companies and people with the city’s schools and community organizations. On the Corporate Impact team, Lauren turned Fortune 500 headquarters into large-scale service events.
U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona hand-selected Lauren’s MLK Day event to attend — one of the largest meal packs Hands On Atlanta has produced, at Delta’s headquarters.
Between Texas and the AJC, Lauren ran implementations and client teams for software and customer-experience companies — the stakeholder management, timelines and reporting she now brings to every event.
Healthcare workforce-management software. Owned implementation timelines, automation and configuration for 50+ accounts, led weekly business reviews, and held the department’s highest CSAT scores.
Led a 15–20 person customer-experience team across three business units for Twitter/X. Earlier, as the campaign’s subject-matter expert, coordinated artwork and translation orders for 13,900 Netflix titles across 280+ countries and 30+ languages.
A San Antonio event planning and design studio. Lauren led the events team — design, floral, logistics and vendors — through 20–30 events a month.
